Ducati 750 SS 1977

In 1977, Cook Neilson triumphed on the Daytona oval circuit riding a Ducati 750 SS prepared by Phil Schilling, securing the first victory for an Italian motorcycle in a U.S. production-based race. This success gave Ducati significant visibility overseas, helping to boost its popularity and sales.

Ducati 900 SD Darmah 1997

In the 1970s, the black and gold livery became iconic in motorsport. This trend also influenced Ducati, which adopted the “black and gold” styling, designed by Leopoldo Tartarini with a logo by Giugiaro, for models such as the Ducati Darmah and Ducati SuperSport.

Ducati 500 SL Pantah 1979

In 1979, Ducati introduced the 500 SL Pantah, bringing a series of technical innovations that would become defining features of the Borgo Panigale brand, including the Pantah engine with belt-driven camshafts and the trellis frame.

Ducati 750 F1 1984

The Tricolore livery, which became a symbol of many Ducati special models, debuted in 1984 with the 750 F1. Successful from the outset, the bike achieved numerous victories, including the Battle of the Twins at Daytona in 1986 with Marco Lucchinelli.

Manteinance of leather parts

The leather is a "live" material, so any small imperfections, spots or grains are a distinctive feature of the leather and guarantee the absence of synthetic finishing substances. To maintain the original characteristics of the leather unaltered over time, we recommend using only specific neutral wax-based fluid products that do not contain solvents, benzene or alcohol for its cleaning.
Use a small quantity of product on a soft cloth, never directly on the leather, and apply it gently on the area with small circular movements. Do not immerse the product in water. If it comes into contact with water, dry it quickly by dabbing with a dry cotton cloth, without rubbing. Do not expose the product to sources of direct heat. Do not iron. Remember that leather might release traces of colour as a result of repeated rubbing on clothing. For manteinance and cleaning you can buy our Cleaning kit for leather and fabric.
Manteinance of fabric part

To clean the fabric, we recommend you use a damp sponge with water and mild soap. Do not use soap or water directly on the product. Gently rub the fabric and then rinse with a clean damp sponge, then dab with a cotton cloth. Let the fabric dry while avoiding direct contact with sources of heat or sunlight.
We recommend that you pad the product well while it is drying to help it retain its original shape. If after cleaning slight marks or areas having a slightly different colour should appear, perform the procedure on a larger surrounding area to make sure the product has a uniform appearance. To avoid marks or discolouration, do not use chemicals or solvents of any kind. Do not iron. Do not dry clean.

Product Warranty

Piquadro offers private customers a 24-month warranty on its products that covers any material and/or manufacturing defects. The warranty will be extended to 36 months if you have completed registration with the Piquadro Club by completely filling in the form contained in the product tags, signing it and returning it to us.
Registration can also be done online, on the Piquadro website, in the My Piquadro section accessible by clicking the Login button at the top right of the home page.
