It assesses the resistance of trolley system and attachment points, simulating the use at full load while traveling. The trolley case travels up to 64 km on the treadmill at about 6 km per hour (average walking speed), encountering small obstacles that reproduce the effect of rough ground.
The purpose is to verify the structural integrity of the baggage, subjected to a severe handling that simulates the air trip of a checked-in suitcase. The product is filled, closed and conditioned for 4 hours in the freezer at -12 ° C (to simulate the low temperature in the aircraft hold). Then it is subjected to 50 fall cycle in the drum.
