Discover the line of eco-responsible sneakers matched with the backpacks

Sneakers

The Corner 2.0 line of eco-sustainable shoes and backpacks is made with recycled materials and technologies capable of limiting the extraction of virgin materials thus reducing the global carbon footprint. It was designed and produced in collaboration with the Italian startup ACBC, certified B Corporation specializing in the production of eco-sustainable footwear.

Corner 2.0 Line

The Corner 2.0 line of eco-responsible sneakers and backpacks features a stylistic detail inspired by the original design of the Corner line, the evergreen Piquadro icon that sparked off its success in 2001. The new unconstructed and lightweight backpacks are protected by angle bars that bring back those of the first Corner, while the sneakers reinterpret them in the clean-cut line of their sole.

Corner 2.0

Carbon Neutrality

The Corner 2.0 line of eco-sustainable shoes and backpacks is made using recycled materials and technologies to limit the extraction of virgin materials and to reduce the overall carbon footprint.
It is also an integral part of the Piquadro Group’s carbon neutrality project. The 13.6 kg of CO2 emitted in the production of the roll top backpack and the 9.8 kg emitted in the production of the sneakers, calculated based on the GHG protocol, will be compensated with the purchase of emitted high-quality carbon credits for a reforestation project in the Cerrado, Brazil, the most biodiverse tropical forest in the world.

A Sustainable Partnership

The Corner 2.0 line is designed and produced in collaboration with the Italian start-up ACBC specialised in the production of shoes that are eco-sustainable and B Corporation-certified, a recognition for companies that meet the highest standards of social and environmental performance. ACBC stands for Anything Can Be Changed, and it is an Italian start-up established in 2017 with the goal of changing the fashion industry with sustainable innovations.
